Here are a few pictures that show some of the addicts of a new drug to hit the United States called Krokodil. This drug eats away at you skin and flesh, addicts are willing to take the risk.

And Illinois, apparently. So it should be in my neck of the woods soon.  There is a major heroin problem here so I have no doubt people will start doing this shit, too. |

The woman with the bone exposed laying there, she's in a vid on youtube and here on DR. Pretty sure the thread was named Krokodil : the drug that eats junkies. Nasty stuff, Having substance abuse problems in my past, I can relate with what would drive these people to use this shit.. They can't get high anymore from heroin, just doesn't work, receptors in their brain for endorphins are clogged.. Basically they shoot up/use heroin up only to get rid of withdrawl effects.. This drug comes along..tada! It MAY rot your flesh off..But you'll get that rush again! you'll feel high again!Worth a shot right? My drugs of choice were alcohol and painkillers.. (At least in the end of my using days. Prior to that? anything I could get my mitts on..lol) My drinking was like that, drink to keep from getting sick/withdrawl..if awake, I was drinking etc. Met a lot of people that were dealing with addiction with different substances., it is a disease, make no mistake about it.. 5 Years sober come January 15th. Best decision I've ever made..  |

Congratulations brother. I too am an addict in recovery. All the best wishes, and I'm glad you shed some light on the depravity of substance abuse.  On another note, I think it's a shame that these people are inflicting such pain upon themselves. I hope that when it hits our streets it is called by it's name and the dealers don't decide to disguise it as heroin. Fuckin' sick yo.  |
