Re: Trucker Dies when Truck Gets Hit by 2 Trains
Looks like he couldn't stop, was sliding because of ice.

Re: Trucker Dies when Truck Gets Hit by 2 Trains
Looks like he stopped in time to miss the first train and just as he was wiping his brow and starting to say “fuck, that was close” the second one thundered through. I think if it was me to be on the safe side, I’d have put the lorry into the field. The worst that would have happened would be spilt sandwich’s and a broken thermos when the cab flipped on its side. Ain’t hindsight a wonderful thing. |

Yeah if you look again you can see him tap his brakes to slow the momentum down...well spotted!

Re: Trucker Dies when Truck Gets Hit by 2 Trains
Kind of looks like he had the brakes on full, and the truck is crow-hopping as it goes on and off the ice. He was certainly trying to stop. Just not enough room or time. And too many trains, of course. |

Re: Trucker Dies when Truck Gets Hit by 2 Trains
Actually, I meant it in relation to horses trying to stop and skidding to a halt. But if it's softball, that's OK too.
