First of all, I would never be crossing that road EVER.. I would either drive myself or I would get a ride avoiding situations like this. Secondly, I wouldn't put myself in that type of danger with high speed cars moving about and the lack of good drivers out there.. Thirdly, I don't place that much trust in others, especially when it comes to drivers.... TBQH, I am a defensive driver in cars and on motorcycles. As a pedestrian walking, I have my head on a swivel at all times, watching the road and others to avoid lame ass situations like this.. |

Retorting back to tard drivers.... If this asshole would have not been tailgating and had at least a 4 second stopping distance ahead of him, this could easily been avoided...  |

Id say he was looking elsewhere and when he turned his eyes in front he was startled that the car in front stopped to give way to those pedestrians. thats where the real drivers comes out than the lame brains. the not panicking and deduce the least damage he can do at times like these

thats why when moving, i always keep distance from those ahead of me by at least 5 meters to 15 meters depending on the travel speed. and i swerve away to another lane if i see the one behind me is a large vehicle and have the habit of tailgating at dangerous speeds.

Crossing a road in Russia is already a risk. Using a cellphone while doing it? Might as well call this a suicide.  Looks like the guy in yellow lucked out, knocked away instead of squished. |
