Trucker wasn't paying attention and didn't keep enough distance. A young man ended up in the hospital with a brain injury while a girl was treated for multiple bruises and was allowed to go home later that evening. |

Too much trust in others to do the right thing.. Fuck that shit... I don't give a fuck, I just don't trust others to do the right thing.. Although, most people (95%) do the right thing and obey traffic laws.. I always keep my eyes on everything/everyone whenever I cross anything.. Keep your head on a swivel... The one minute when you take for granted everything around you, that's when you get fucked.... |

They sure started crossing the road in a hurry. Busy road like that, with lots of big trucks, they'd have been better off waiting until traffic stopped before starting to cross.
