Mumbai Girl Blabbing on Phone Gets Hit by a Train
New Delhi: A girl in Mumbai would definitely thank her stars for miraculously escaping death after being mowed down by a train due to her carelessness. The shocking incident was captured on a CCTV camera installed at platform 7. According to the railway police, Pratriksha Natekar was speaking to a friend over her mobile phone while walking on the tracks towards platform 7. “As she was busy over the phone, she didn’t hear a goods train thundering down the tracks. When she suddenly looked up the train had already reached her. She panicked and ran first towards the platform and then straight into the train, police told. The train knocked her leaving no time for the motorman to apply brakes. Commuters at the platform could not believe their eyes to see the girl alive as she suffered minor injuries. The girl was admitted to hospital by the GRP for immediate treatment. |
