It was a clear cut case of target fixation. Rather than looking at where he wanted to go (to his left) the rider instead fixated on the car. By doing so, his hands/body position forced the bike into a course to collide with the car. Had he maintained his lane, or even swerved just slightly left, he would have just gone right by.

This is the first thing I learned at motorcycle school -- intersections are where most bike crashes occur, so don't go thru them like your butt's on fire.

Yep, He's not getting up!!! Im a very experienced rider,in fact i ONLY ride motorcycles and i can say that dude on bike should have known to always be extra shady around intersections. That's where bad shit always happens!!!

I tend to agree with what your saying, But it kinda looks like he might have been looking for OTHER cars turning left and didnt even see that car till he was right up on it....

this is reson so many bikers are killed..They ride them stupid..Thinking the speed can pull them out of anything...Did you watch how quick he came down the screen...my guess 110mph....This is reson bikes dangerous...I ride and have seen so many bikers trying to show of to me when passing...Like guy who popped wheel last nite on busy street...Dum Shit had he of come down wrong and crashed he would of taken me out with him....Bikes are like cars only as safe as the rider..same as car...Speed kills.....
