That family had some real money to be able to afford that house in Japan. looks like the house didn't suffer too much damage just a big clean up.

i can't believe how relatively calm they stayed during the major portion of that. i live in california and for those who have never experienced an earthquake, depending on the size they can be anything from ha!ha! to absolutely terrifying. from the looks of it (bicycle) they may have had a kid. perhaps they were in school? it would be horrifying to go through something like that and not know how your kid was.
