Impact threw skater Serge Murphy out of his shoes

A Massachusetts skateboarder is lucky to be alive after he was smacked by a truck while a buddy filmed one of his stunts.

A video posted to YouTube Monday showed Serge Murphy skating down an alley in Lowell and performing a tail slide on a railing next to some stairs.

Murphy then rolls into the street and gets nailed by a delivery truck, sending him flying out of his shoes.

The collision makes a sickening crash, and the skater soars nearly half a block before landing and skidding across the road.

"Oh s--!" someone yells.

A caption on the video says Murphy survived the crash.

By Wednesday morning, nearly 150,000 had viewed the 12-second clip.

University of Texas students got a similar scare last month when freshman Nick Engmann was hit by a bus after he ran into a busy intersection during some end-of-semester hijinks.

Engmann hurt his arm but otherwise wasn’t seriously injured.

Serges Murphy survived the collision which saw him thrown down the street after he boarded directly into the path of the van.

Murphy was skating on the streets of Lowell, Massachusetts, when the collision with the delivery truck happened.
In the 12-second clip, which has been viewed more than 20,000 times since it was uploaded to YouTube yesterday, the skater is caught on camera as he comes racing down an alley on his board.

He grinds along a railing in the clip before landing his skateboard back on the alley.
As he rides out at high speed from between the houses, a van appears and plows straight into him.

Kids are bouncy, if i sustained some of the injuries now that i got when i was a kid im sure i wouldnt get away with just "scratched knees" x
