Two sisters were drinking heavily at a bar in Para and got into an argument regarding the inheritance split left by their recently deceased father.

According to regulars at the watering hole, the two had been fighting over the money for several weeks, with varying levels of animosity. But on Saturday night, the disagreement reached a crescendo when the younger sister (dyed red hair in the antemortems) pulled a knife and slashed her older sister (black top in the antemortems) in the throat several times.

The injured sister got to her feet and tried to flee, with her boyfriend intervening and trying to save her. He got a slash across the eye for his trouble and didn't manage to do any good anyway.

The injured sister managed to stagger as far as her bicycle in her attempt to escape before collapsing from massive blood loss and dying face down in the back yard of the local bar.
