Miette, who died from DIPG. She survived it for 1 year, 8 months, 3 days. Video of her dead body being moved from her home to hospital where her corneas were being donated.

What is DIPG?
A Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) is a tumor located in the pons (middle) of the brain stem. The brain stem is the bottom most portion of the brain, connecting the cerebrum with the spinal cord. The majority of brain stem tumors occur in the pons (middle brain stem), are diffusely infiltrating (they grow amidst the nerves), and therefore are not able to be surgically removed.

Glioma is a general name for any tumor that arises from the supportive tissue called glia, which help keep the neurons ("thinking cells") in place and functioning well. The brain stem contains all of the "wires" converging from the brain to the spinal cord as well as important structures involved in eye movements, face and throat muscle control and sensation.

If God exists, why do things like this happen? In Isaiah 45:7, God says,

“I fashion light and create darkness; I make peace and create evil.”

Sounds like he's having some fun. What's supposed to be the purpose of allowing this little girl to to taste the flavour of life... then to kill her, causing despair, pain and suffering to her relatives? What's the lesson that we are to draw from that?
Religion is definitely not for me. God, did you allow this to happen? Fuck you!
