It was a hit. 1st shooter called him out as he entered the store. When his gun jammed, he yelled for his lookout to come in and finish the job. There seemed to be an urgency to make sure phone was confiscated. Probably had some intel in it or proof of criminal conduct against someone else. Who knows. .victim may as well been some sort of officer, politician, lawyer, etc.
