Probably replaced and forgotten about before the day ended.
One less retirement party they gotta plan for!

Re: Worker's Head Crushed by Forklift

You wonder why that not happen in USA. It’s because a forklift like that would never be allowed here. Them are tipping death traps over there. Here something that big has safety features plus you would be driving on it not battery towing by hand

He didn't follow the procedure of lowering the folk to the base before moving it around so the center of gravity will be lower as the machine is designed for.

Re: Worker's Head Crushed by Forklift

At my new job, I just got certified on these things. You’re not really supposed to be taking walkie-stackies onto ramps AFAIK because of their format, and where the load/lack of load rests. The trucks can do inclines better, but only straight on. Looks like dude hit a divot in the concrete and the stacker fell backwards as a result. He should have taken the forks down at the very least. It possibly could of prevented the fall.

All these industrial accidents keep me on my toes, considering I work around many machines we’ve seen on here.

All that plus if you have a load on an incline always have the load facing the top of the incline, ie coming down a ramp back down, coming up then forks forward.

Re: Worker's Head Crushed by Forklift

There are so many fatal workplace accidents in China I'm surprised we don't get little pieces of chinese people falling out with the Styrofoam packing when we open our new boxes of Samsung 65" TVs or even apple iphones
