Change the title of the post please its obvious a pit bull didn't do this, I don't own a pit bull, I don't care for them and I agree they are not safe pets, but this attack clearly is not from a dog so please change the title until we are certain what happened to her.

I bred Pit Bulls for years. Literally not ONE has ever harmed a human, much less their owner or child companion.
