Your comparing wild animals to household pets... Wild Dogs are a bit different to pitbulls for a start... If you put a wild cat of the same size up against a wild dog of the same size, the wild dog normally come out on top. Hyenas are beasts, their biting pressure is almost twice as powerful as ANY wild cat out there. |

Which is why lions maul the shit out of hyenas on a regular basis? Hyena developed their pack formation because a 1 on 1 battle between a lion and a hyena results in nothing but a dead dog. |
