Well, in most, if not in all cases of dog attacks, the owner is at fault. I own dogs for more then 20 years, so I can tell from my own experience. Large and brutal breeds like pitbuls have to be strictly trained, and the owner shouldn`t let his dog go freely in the streets. In case of wild dogs (the dogs that were thrown out and became wild, or their offsprings), however, in most cases the attacked human is at fault. It`s quite easy to follow simple rules "No run, No cry, No waving hands, and especially DO NOT FALL" near the wild dogs. Still, I see freaking lot of people every day, that are trying to run from the dogs, wave hands at them or cry at them.

Any dog can attack at any time. The dog could have severe tooth pain, or any of a thousand other triggers for canine aggression regardless of the environment the dog was raised in. You have no control over these unforeseen events.

The difference is that a golden retriever, or any other breed is not going to have the destructive capability of these animals which were bred to kill.

There's no need to launch a reflexive defense of these ugly, worthless animals every time they tear someone else to shreds.

Beware, your pit bull might get tired of fucking you in the ass one day and tear your throat out instead.

As a human, a guaranteed way to ensure I'm not at fault for being mauled to death (for you know, doing something as terrible as falling down, waving, or crying) is to put a bullet in the head of these thug-dogs.
