Re: Woman Shot Outside Store Philadelphia
They don't. Look around the world instead of zooming in on a particular city if you want actual science instead of anecdotes. Countries with tougher gun laws around the world = lower gun crime by far. When you loosen gun restrictions you see drastic increases in gun murders. America = #1 for gun murders. Also most relaxed gun laws. 2nd most relaxed gun laws is Somalia. and WHAT A SURPRISE..... 2nd for gun related deaths too. If you have a country like America that has tough gun laws in one state, and then ZERO gun laws in the neighbouring state, I think the answer is pretty obvious as to why it doesn't work out. Is there any way of preventing smuggling of weapons across state lines? NOPE! But from one country to another is a lot more difficult. |
