Exactly. Who is right and who is wrong is kinda irrelevant. If you are walking around aimlessly unaware of your surroundings then you ARE at fault, even if the person that ran you over went through a red light, or wasn't paying attention, or whatever it may be. You have a responsibility to protect yourself from harm, and shouldn't leave it up to others to make sure they see you.

I wonder if the Truck made that annoying BEEPING Noise when backing up? I feel for the trucker as I doubt he got up thinking, "I feel like running down an old lady today". She should have been more Mindful of the surroundings |
