I was already pissed off just reading the thread title, but then hearing her reasoning, which just triggered me more, they seemed like solvable problems..nothing permanent... Okay, so your man is an asshole and has you on a short leash, leave him, just take your kid and get the fuck out of there! She just comes off as cowardly and pathetic.. and it's easy to judge her actions here, but I know enough about domestic violence and the cycle of abuse to understand how completely stuck someone can feel because they've been thoroughly broken. If they cant find a way to break the cycle of abuse and get out of the relationship, this is usually the result, death by their own hand, or the hand of their abuser. I just cant even imagine what kinds of horror she went through to make this, the manner of her suicide, seem like the best option available to her. I feel sad, frustrated, and pissed for her, and for the bit of light she gave to her kid that also died that day.  I'm glad she didn't kill the kid though, literally speaking.

That's fucken cold, I mean I battle the usual regrets along with the despair but I'd never killyself as a parent. I've had some pretty bad lows and I can only believe that there's some extreme mental illness behind this. This video and the one with the father attempting cpr on his son made me grateful for my life today. I wish everyone scrolling though these comments a better day today and not to give up. If it's that bad go eat some junk food and just fall asleep. If that's not possible just fucking rest whenever you can and don't browse stupid shit. |

I honestly think I know where you are coming from. It took me a few years, but I did in the end learn that there are "good" people, and "innocent" people too (such as the child in the vid).
