I remember reading about how flamethrowers were so effective because even after the fire is put out, your body can’t dissipate the heat fast enough, and you literally cook on the inside out. Like how you can burn something by leaving something it in a frying pan even after you turn off the stove. Unfortunately, humans are fairly good insulators, so we can’t just stand under cold water like a frying pan and cool off immediately.  |

There was an ambulance out on the street so she will have got to the hospital pretty sharpish. Stupid way to go.
