Its a fake, he used blanks.Notice the casing flying off, the hand doesn't recoil, and the blood spills out before the flash.

I do not think it is fake. It looks quite real. The gun not leaving his hand is really not an indication of fake. The gun doesn't always leave the shooters hand. It may have slipped out of his hand after he fell. The movements looked natural and it does look real.

if you look again you will see his finger pull trigger. wacth the area between the outer layer of the finger and inner layer of the trigger guard. it becomes lighter. the space increases as he pulls the trigger and more light can be seen
