One of the whole points of a suppressor is to keep your position concealed from the enemy and so that the shooter doesn't blind himself with his own muzzle flash. They're really not that expensive and seeing someone not using one on a weapon like that tells me that their knowledge of weaponry extends about as far as how to load it and pull the trigger
