Nice how you quickly slid by that...Where was he “casing” homes? Can you give evidence that proves his intentions? Like something found on him or video of this guy TAKING anything? Walking around and admiring the construction, progress of a home under construction isn’t “casing”.

So no, I wouldn’t say he was out to rob at this point. Just like I wouldn’t say the shooters were out to kill, BUT they killed someone so.....

There is a lot missing from this story. While the news and morons are out there doing a Treyvon Marton thing wearing white shirts and "jogging for Harambe" already, making it seem like 2 fat racist rednecks just were hunting this guy, there are huge gaps in logic here.

Based on history, I'm going to guess there's a good chance this guy was doing something wrong prior that prompted it...and probably more than just going into an empty construction house.

Yes, I have. On page 2 I give my take of the crime based on what we saw in the video and some of the earlier info from the news. On page 4, I posted the father's version of events and give my take on that as well.

This guy was jogging wearing Timbaland boots with no laces? He was convicted of bringing a gun to school in the past. He was a convicted thief as well. Also the pic being posted all over social media is his high school graduation pic from 7 years ago! I want to see an updated pic. He deserved it.

Hard to say much right now. Let the cops and defense attorneys release all the video, and witness statements. Was he robbing the construction site, or just stupidly wandering through to see what the house is gonna look like? I've been around open construction sites just to peek.

me too, I have loved exploring construction sites since I was a kid, but I never run from the scene like I need to get away before I am spotted and I would not try to fight armed men who are holding me up to ask what I was doing.

real sad this guy got killed, but it does not seem like a racist murder to me. that kind of stuff is overblown in western media to pander to the agenda. guess we will have to see what the evidence suggests

I don’t know why so many people want the jogger to be guilty. The guys aren’t police (one is an ex-cop, but still not police). They jump out with a shotgun on the jogger. The jogger had a fight for life instinct and tried for self defense. For a citizens arrest, you’d better have all of your ducks in a row, which these guys definitely didn’t. Let police handle suspicions. They flat out murdered the guy and their intent on that begins when they drag the shotgun out of the pickup with them. Not wise to start a threat, then claim self defense when the other party reacts to the threat.

how can you say this was a flat out murder with any kind of intellectual integrity? The people with the shotguns did not just show up out of nowhere, they were following the guy who was running away from something, trying to get him to stop, but he ignored them and refused to stop. so one of the guys gets out of the truck to try to detain him, as they are legally allowed to do in their state because they were likely in pursuit of a suspect in a crime. they are also allowed to openly carry their shotguns.

when the "jogger" was confronted and ordered to stop for the citizens arrest, he attacked an armed man and attempted to get the gun from him. it was then that he was killed. when somebody is trying to wrestle your shotgun from you, it is usually not a good idea to allow him to do it, or you might get killed. as you would deserve, for allowing yourself to be disarmed by the suspect you are pursuing.

we don't have all the facts yet, but considering the facts we do have, I think it is laughable for you to consider this straight murder at this time, and I weep for the intelligence of people around the world who think like you.

And if you absolutely must disarm the person who has the gun pointed at you, a better strategy would be to feign surrender or shoot them a crazed smile so they will hopefully drop their guard first so you don't get blown away when you strike.
