US: Cop One-taps Seatbelt Violator...
...who pulled a gun on him.

May 30th, 2022 - Dashcam footage released by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol shows 21-year-old M.D. being stopped by Trooper Rodney N. Cook for a seatbelt violation. The officer smells some weed and then instructs the driver to step out of the vehicle.

It's at that point that M.D. pulls a pistol on the officer who retreats, and fires one shot - dropping the suspect instantly. Likely a direct shot to the heart, as he died soon after.

Despite M.D. pulling a gun on him, the officer tried in vain to perform CPR until EMS arrived.

Tyler Paige, M.D.'s best friend, said he was driving with a friend to his house to watch anime when he was pulled over. Despite the fact that he pulled a gun on a police officer, Paige said he wasn't aggressive.

"I know I'm ready to fight this in court," Paige said. "Rodney Cook deserves to be fired."

Family and friends released balloons in memory of M.D. in an apparent attempt to kill as many native turtles and birds as possible.

Okay...so your friend pulled a gun a cop because he was going to get a measly ticket or at worst get a DUI...but you say "He wasn't aggressive" ??
