Re: Unique View Of The World Trade Center Jumpers Landing Zone!
. I would have rather LIVED those 10 seconds and KNOWN I was going to die than have been burnt alive. Sorry, but 10 seconds seems like the better "deal" to me... Like I said... I'd have jumped. It wouldn't have been that difficult of a decision for me. |

Re: Unique View Of The World Trade Center Jumpers Landing Zone!
Sitting here online I'm thinking I would jump knowing that by the time I hit the ground I wouldn't care but if I were there while it was happening I don't know if I would be able to do it or not. Such a sad, sad, day.

Re: Unique View Of The World Trade Center Jumpers Landing Zone!
actually when something like that happens too you, its better to jump b/C your body has a massive heart attack, or just shuts off completely. I learned this in my anatomy class, its wierd, your body and brain knows so it shuts off and you die atleast 10 seconds before you hit the ground or jumping off bulidings or somthing up high like that. I know, so for furture thought, just jump, its more peacful with less suffering. but twas still horrible to watch, that was a very sad day. but good post

Re: Unique View Of The World Trade Center Jumpers Landing Zone!
i think in that situation, flames coming up behind you, you'd find the balls. i cant help but think it would be kind of peaceful, 10 seconds of flying then nothing. doesn't seem a too bad a way to go |
