I think it's so strange how people will put their hands up to the top of their heads when witnessing someone unexpectedly die.  Whenever someone jumps from a building or is electrecuted or hit by a car or whatever, you will always see this particular "oh the humanity" gesture!

Maybe, maybe not. Nonetheless, that hardhat may have kept him alive just long enough to know he was about to be squished. (Looked like his noggin bounced off the back of the roller pretty friggin' hard.)
