I call them insurgents because the term terrorist is emotionally manipulative. I guess I could have called him an enemy combatant to be totally pc.  But, for all I know it could be the face of an innocent woman who was just walking by and did nothing wrong. |

Honestly, you could be right. However, my experience with these videos has shown me that the person who gets that blown up, is usually the person who had the bomb strapped to them. You have some evidence this person was an innocent, present it and I will change the title. Until then I'll keep using the term insurgent as it is the most descriptive, while being the least manipulative. p.s. I never call someone an insurgent if I have any scrap of evidence or inkling they are a civilian. So we cool Huskie? Oh ya, did you like that other Ron Burgundy movie I gave you? |

Agree Firefly - the damage is too extensive to be anyone OTHER than the one who wore the vest. Faust, the statement about the enemy raping their daughters is a bullshit thing to say, if it is directed to the US soldiers. Yes, there are incidents, and yes, there are some bad apples, but in general, the US soldiers and marines take pretty damn good care of the "innocent" people, many of whom ARE terrorists. Rape is extremely rare, and if it is discovered, the offender is harshly punished.

Really. And I've seen posts by this same knucklehead making fun of people killed in a bus accident, a woman being raped and another beheaded woman. Now all of a sudden he's full of compassion for the 'poor bloke' trying to get to work. What a fucking hypocrite phony! Nobody likes this war, least of all the guys fighting it but I don't hear too many of them whining. |
