For fucks sake... You'd think her 'mommy radar' would kick in sooner. Her head was turned just enough to the right that she probably didn't even see the little one run into the street. It wasn't until the 2nd kid ran in AND she saw the car move that she finally put 2 and 2 together, but by then it was too late. Partial blame should go towards the people in that car as well... They we're idling in that spot long enough to notice those kids playing nearby and they should've been a bit more attentive.. It's like they didn't even bother to check their surroundings before taking off. This is one of those cliche "I only took my eyes off the kid for a couple seconds" scenarios, where unfortunately for that family a few seconds was all it took.  |

You are overlooking the Crazy Mother factor. A lot of Crazy Mothers set up situations where kids are 'accidentally' killed. |
