Two Americans Crushed by Train, With One Losing Their Brains
December 20th. Two people are dead after being run over by a subway train in Manhattan. Police say a 44-year-old man from Long Island and a 63-year-old woman from Brooklyn had been hit by a train shortly before 10.30 in the morning. After the first train hit the victim, two subsequent trains ran over their bodies amid confusion from 911 callers about where the incident had occurred. Police and the MTA were checking two other stations, but not the 6th Avenue L stop. Police are investigating the possibility that the man was a Good Samaritan who had fallen onto the tracks after attempting to catch the woman as she fell. Criminality is not suspected. |
