Ok now, here is a situation where I would say the cops did what they had to do. She CLEARLY had a gun, and if she already shot a bystander a few days earlier, what else could the cops do? I suppose they could try to taze her, but really, even if she is mentally ill....she has a gun, she's willing to shoot people, it's the cops job to protect the public from people like this and if they can't do it without killing the suspect, then so be it. This is far different from many police shootings that have been in the news lately though. It's important to be able to distinguish between the two. |
