Exactly. The driver may be at fault as far as the rules of the road goes, but the pedestrian is 100% responsible for walking infront of a terrible driver without looking. You failed to protect yourself from idiots on the road. You could have easily prevented your own death.

In any case the one who is dead is that no smile girl... The laws are the laws, but everyone have ho see if it safe to cross or not. She didn't, so she's dead. Very simple. Here is 50/50 of of responsability, I think.  |

I don’t fuck around when crossing roads or busy crosswalks. I look both ways twice before crossing every time, and if there is a massive truck waiting at a crosswalk that I want to cross in front of, I ALWAYS make eye contact first before I walk in-front of the truck. I also give a lil two finger peace sign as a way to say thanks for not “accidentally” running my ass over.
