yeh, I agree. as unbelievable as it sounds, the beheading must have been a relief. perhaps when captured, they are usually quite willing to give out information even though they know they are going to die because of what can be done to them before they die. simply being beheaded isn't the best way to die but it beats being horrendously tortured and then being beheaded. makes me wonder about that kid in the red shirt (or was it blue?) in the other recent beheading video and if that was just mental torture for him before he perhaps was physically tortured. someone said - I think it was on that thread - that perhaps he was saved from beheading because maybe he didn't spill any info and they had respect for that. I doubt it. they most likely just get even madder and make the persons death even worse.

as far as the illegals here in the US. many of them had little say and were just small children when brought over by their parents. they grew up in the U.S. and are basically as american as those they grew up with who were born in this country. for those illegals, this is their home and the only one they have ever known. for these illegals, I agree that they should be given citizenship. perhaps a stipulation would be that they must not have a criminal record.

in my opinion, it is our own country's fault they are here because we chose to let them stay because of our laws are so lenient on illegals.

what we need to do most of all is make our laws stricter... more comparable to the laws of other countries when it comes to illegal aliens. better yet, let every country know that from here on, any one coming here illegally or staying past their visa expiration or green card expiration from this date here on will be treated the same way that their country would treat ours if we were caught in their country illegally. (that would definitely lessen some of those coming from mid east countries). if we would just make our laws stricter, then we would no longer have a problem with illegal aliens.

after all, do you think these countries that hang or behead illegals have much of a problem with people sneaking into their countries?
