To be honest I'd rather be buried than cremated. Hate the idea of being put in a fucking furnace. Came here from nature, will return to nature when I go without the use of fire. Cycle of life and all that. Weird how one can make the choice between being bloated and eaten by bugs or burnt beyond a crisp in an oven! Something peaceful about getting to the skeleton stage and just resting in peace though...

You'd suit one of those new eco-funerals (?Sweden) where they freeze you with liquid nitrogen, transport you to a forest, smash you up then rake you into the soil. You thaw out and disappear into the earth. Or a Tibetian sky burial! I'd love that AND it's much cheaper  |

Sharon, when you pass away you won't be worried about the cost of your burial, i'd hope your kids won't mind spending a bit more of their inheritance to give you a proper send off?! You are right though, the liquid nitrogen thing sounds ace :) Just out of interest, what region of the UK are you from? I'm on the South Coast. :) |
