It seems he thought about 'death by crocodile', but chose 'death by tigers'. He knew the stage value of being killed in view of others rather than killed underwater and out of view. The poor guy shoveled zoo shit all day long, and needed some drama in his life. So, with bucket on head, he tormented the tigers into attacking him, although the tigers seemed rather docile, even when chewing on him and stuff. The bystanders (I guess), were unable to conceive of throwing something at the tigers, save for one lousy umbrella. You couldn't expect them to throw their expensive cameras and such, because if they did that, we might not have this video.

The bucket was his mistake. In India, hunters paint a mask to the back of the head as to prevent tiger attacks - a tiger never attacks an animal that is facing it, only from behind. Poor tigers, couldn´t finish their meal...  |
