According to his relatives, the body was lying in the street for almost eight hours, until a taxi passed by the place and notified the authorities. At the time he was found, the man was already dead. He only made a mistake, believing that he could go out to talk with his friends in a local pub in the sector, but he did not take one thing into account, that he lives in Bogotá and in Bogotá no one can give him those luxuries . As no one can talk on a cell phone on the street , in their car or in a taxi, or no one can go to a restaurant because they also attack him there and more so if he has a luxury watch, neither can anyone take public transport because they can get stabbed, go out to exercise in the park with headphones to cheer up with good music and do not even think about riding a bicycle, watch out! in Bogotá that can cost you your life. The fact was determined by the authorities as a violent death. As far as is known, the authorities are working on gathering evidence to determine the facts and find those responsible. The man was a well-known neighbor in the sector, which is why its inhabitants described the thieves as scoundrels, in addition to mentioning tv that the event occurred at 1:30 am and that the Police were notified around 10:00 am. The chances of victims dying in a robbery are now greater. According to official figures, murders in the midst of robberies had a terrifying increase of 32.3%. Theft of people grew 21.6%, and cell phone theft, 18.1%. Amid this wave of violence, injuries (street brawls) rose 44.8%. “45% of the people who lose their lives in Bogotá are due to intolerance, consumption of liquor and fights. The National Police, from the national level, offers up to 50 million pesos for the capture of the responsible for this murder, " said General Vargas. |

Re: Thugs Robbing a Pedestrian Giving Him a Fatal Blow to the Head
~ Another casual pensative walk moment in the wee hours of the morning, 1:30am, just asking for trouble. ~Robbers saw him as a pigeon ~ Guy out from the taxi is the same robber guy that hit victim, acting/trying to make it look like he had nothing to do with it, by using taxi cab driver as a witness, that he was just checking on a random guy laid out, most possibly drunk. |

I agree. I think it’s just some random car and the guy is checking it out to see if there is anything of value he can pocket. Once he determines there’s nothing left, he leaves.

Re: Thugs Robbing a Pedestrian Giving Him a Fatal Blow to the Head
The initial blow probably isn't what killed him. It was more likely the fall face first with the momentum from the hit and push and not being conscious to protect his fall. At least most people who die from being hit or punched in a fight die from the head slamming into a road or sidewalk. |
