From what I've heard a metal helmet won't stop an AK-47 round, much less one from a high-powered sniper rifle. The're more to prevent injuries from shrapnel. A bulletproof vest is no match for intermediate-powered rifle rounds either. Some guy in Serbia got one and had a friend shoot him with an AK-47 to test it out. Darwin won. |
