Riding that ride, you hop up into the seat which is molded like a racing seat and pull a solid harness down which locks. The only thing the ride workers do is give the harness a little push as they walk by. Theres nothing between your legs other than a
raised portion of the seat. Since its a vertical drop the only force from your body should be directed straight down.

UNLESS…….your posture is such that youre slouched in the seat. Something so minimal like a strap connecting the harnesd to the seat that either clips or snaps in wouldve been enough to prevent that.

Similar mishaps on that ride are probably 1 in a million. Theres your “one”.

I re-read this thread from the beginning and I think CombatVet called it correctly first becasue CombatVet infers Tyre was extruded thru the gap, over the testicle / hymen buster upright seat appendage, between the safety bar and the seat. I don't think Tyre was slouching, instead his size and geometry did not allow the safety bar to come down enough to prevent being extruded. The pictures show he was big legged, like Hillary Clinton. The deceleration of his giant thighs / legs hanging over the seat could have started a deformation process ending in full extrusion, what I will call the Santa Claus "bowl full of jelly" model.

One of the seats on the ride appears to be out of order and covered with black plastic. It's lights also appear to be switched off. You will find it located four seats away from the seat that Tyre fell from (to his right).

I was actually surprised there wasn’t massive gore. We’ve seen falls with less force and they’re pretty gruesome. I’m glad though, because these kids and that girl that asked about seatbelts are gonna have some serious PTSD. As a fat person this solidified my decision not to even attempt amusement park rides. Yeah it locked against his chest but the gap was way too big. It stopped at his torso instead of his thighs. Fat is squishy so he got sucked right out of that space. Poor kid. I was hoping that it happened fast but it’s clear he knew what was going on as he was clearly slipping before being completely yeeted.
