Re: Teenage Boy Killed by Drop Tower in Orlando, Florida
That is not probably correct, energy is mass times speed in meters per second. So if the guy weighs 140kg and he hit at 100km/h, so let’s say 30meters/second he would hit the ground with an energy of.. 4200 newton ? Hmm I should go back to highschool LOL

Re: Teenage Boy Killed by Drop Tower in Orlando, Florida
I remember riding one of those things like 15 years ago in mexico. When we were on the top, suddenly the machine started making some loud as fuck sounds like if it was breaking from inside, like metal parts breaking and falling and colliding with everything inside. A bunch of people started screaming, i wasn't (i was about to shit myself), and we got stuck up there for a couple of eternal minutes. The shit started to slow go to the ground, making a lot of extra metal crunching noises. And here i am. This kind of videos just gives me PTSD Love it |

If you look really close, you can see his friend still locked in the ride try to tap him with his foot, then is arms are out in disbelief. Once they release him from the ride, he just stares over his body in disbelief. This poor kid had to watch his friend die like that. I don’t think, if I were him, I could ever come back or come back normal from that. ☹️ |

Re: Teenage Boy Killed by Drop Tower in Orlando, Florida
His seatbelt not go down enough cause his torso was to big preventing a large gap at the bottom. Ideally one would also hold on with there hands also but it is harder to do if you are a heavier person because it’s more like doing a pull up being 2 times the weight., Finally having sweaty hands from being terrified (“usually happens to brothers on the ascend”)this causes lubrication . Put this with the fact the handlebars are Gloss metal (the little bro did not have a chance unless he used his arms and leg strength somehow together which did not look possible from the intel I was able to gather from the available videos of this horrific tragedy., the second he realized he was falling must have been terrifying to him. I know it did not look like he was that high when he fell but I can tell you from his point of view in the first person perspective looking down , it would seem as if he was very high up still and be very terrifying.,, I know this from working on roofs. .,, when on the ground looking up at the roof it looks like a easy non dangerous climb,…, once you are on the roof however it is far more terrifying! Another messed up thing is that time is slowed during a fall like that. To him the fall would have felt like 30 seconds rather than the 2-3 it actually took ,.this is because all of your nerves and neurons are focused on this last event, your body knows it is in big trouble and basically the time slows 10x or more. This happened to me when I fell off a very high up tree fort while trying to build another story at the way top and the board I was holding up and nailing at the same time slipped and we both came down. There was many witnesses that seen this and I landed on my back when I hit the ground. I was so lucky not to be killed since there were so many obstacles in the equation that could have killed me including hundreds of boards on the ground with nails sticking out of them and tons of dangers on the way down on the fall but the point is I’m getting across is the way time stops. I’ll never forget that., it litterally felt like a minute went by on that fall and I remember every thing that happens during the fall including every thing my body touched neer and on the tree and tree house on the way down ,I even remember some points of the fall being closer to the tree where I tried using my body to grab stuff that should have held me but just snapped like pretzels do to the impact of the fall. Long story short this guy knew every split second what was going on until he hit the ground because to him this fall seemed much higher and he was young which makes your body work much faster at processing problems than a old person hence creating a very long terrifying fall., if you watch closely you will see him trying to save himself any way he could all the way to the time he hit the ground |

Re: Teenage Boy Killed by Drop Tower in Orlando, Florida
You get on metal crunching sound MEXICAN amusement park rides? You really must have a death wish! These days, with the chances of getting killed by Latino cartel violence (yes, LATINO VIOLENCE), crunchy Mexican rides might be the safest place in Mexico! Moving targets, especially erratic crunchy ones, are difficult to hit with bullets. So you are more likely to be killed in the park's parking lot than on a crunchy ride, but even Mexican parking lots are still safer than the African American ghettos in USA cities.
