Re: Taking Their Last Breath

These people are in guatemala. I know from the spanish they are speking @ 2:52 he says "si, yo me quero con "vos" "Vos" is a word frequently used to mean "you" in guatemala. "Mira, VOS" Is "Look, you"! I lived in guatemala for more than a year and my wife is from there, these people look like guatemalans as well, there are other things that I notice also to get me to conclude this.

Re: Taking Their Last Breath

well at the end of the video the cameraman asks the girl who was driving and it was the guy who sounded like he was snoring and she is saying that he was drunk, and "vos" is used in alot of central american countries but they do look Guatemalan or from around that area.

CPR would not have saved any of them. They needed to be airlifted to a Trauma Center. I see very obvious Abdominal and Head trauma. Most of them are in need of surgery, specially the girls that was choking. They appear to be from Argentina and this was a Car accident.

Re: Taking Their Last Breath

I took 2 Spanish classes, I remember learning about Vosotros.. In fact in my Spanish classes we were advised to skip over vosotros cause that's like saying Whom in old english... However countries like Spain and others use Vosotros. I remember my Spanish t eacher saying that in our lifetime we may never hear someone using vosotros, and maybe I should show her this.... Though I dunno if she still teaches. She told the class, imagine the biblical ages, Thou shalt not do something is basically now saying something with Vosotros.

Re: Taking Their Last Breath

Yoso is king! It is so hard to understand Spanish if you speak English cause they speak so fast... I remember being asked to translate stuff on a v ideo to English and I couldn't do it. I even saw alot of actual Spanish speakers h aving trouble doing that. So sad for these girls though, this has to b e the very first time I ever saw a girl who was that beautiful(in the passports)..Seeing her nipple and not getting turned on.

Re: Taking Their Last Breath

"Vos" and "Vosotros" are 2 different subjects... "vos" is another way of "tu" (not usually presented in Spanish language textbooks) and it is used in most countries of Central America and parts of South America like Argentina and Uruguay, often coexisting with "tu". Mexico does not use "vos".

"Vosotros", on the other hand, is used for the most part in Spain and it translates to "all of you"/"y'all"/"yous guys" (Latin American Spanish uses "Ustedes" instead).

The cameraman had a strong Argentinian accent, so it likely wasn't shot in Central America (unless he was a tourist).

Fascinating (and unfortunate) vid, by the way!
