I've seen it referenced here often that for those who survive a suicide where they leapt from a building or bridge, the vast majority report regretting their decision the instant after they make it.

I was about to say something along that line. I think it's a bit insulting to think that somebody didn't think the average human being would be able to figure out who went splat and who is just rubbernecking without the aid of that ugly red egg.
