I just take solace in the fact he's got to be in a better place now. I'd say 'God bless' but any decent God wouldn't let this happen to a child.

That little sigh he makes has to be one of the saddest things I've ever seen on this site. I wish I could pick him up and hold him. Such a horrible thing for anyone, but especially for a baby like that.

Jan 7, 2015. A 7 year old boy in the Sudan province of South Kordofan suffers and dies later on in the hospital after being hit by shrapnel from a missile fired from a Sudanese Airforce fighter jet.

South Kordofan is one of the 18 wilayat or provinces of Sudan. It has an area of 158,355 km² and an estimated population of approximately 1,100,000 people (2000).

Kaduqli is the capital of the state. It is centered on the Nuba Hills. Because South Kordofan is the only state in (North) Sudan that is producing oil, the ethnic Nubans who live there are being targeted by the northern military.

not a good place to get wounded. grass leaf blade or coconut leaf blades for bandage is not exactly what id call comfortable wound wraps.

They have good camera to film but they cant bear to tear their own shirts to make a more efficient and comfortable tourniquet and bandage. especially in the body region. i'd go around naked if my clothes can save a life. of course i always carry spare clothes in my bag so i have no fear saying that.
