It does go against everything I stand for, but at the same time, I can not justify risking the entire site for one video. Circumstances may change, and we could eventually release it, but right now, to do so, would almost certainly cause the site to be shutdown.

What was the 'governmental' response to the Foley video? I think most people would like an explanation why one out of a million beheadings on this site is found objectionable. Have 'they' already threatened you in regards to the Sotloff vid?
