There are like 3/4's of a million Chinese meanings for "Ya", but one, and the only slang I've seen is "Male Prostitute". All of this leads me to believe that the dude in the video is a pimp attempting a heavy handed recruitment on the chap.
In the future, when joining forces to solve crimes we should do so as Doc Broccoli's Detective Agency.
It's just a rough idea so far, but our logo could look a little something like this. For the front door or awning, or what have you--maybe even projected onto clouds.

Wow, I almost wish I hadn't pictured that part. Though, at least if Doc Broccoli's doesn't make it as a detective agency it'd definitely succeed as a lingerie company, and/or possible genre of adult fornibation entertainment.

I dig a nice waffle too. Especially those packaged little chewy Maple waffle cone type disks. Actually, I love those muthers.
Although, if we're talking about any Inter-Wafflary changes to the overall aesthetic of our endeavour I feel that Waffles might be better implemented as the Doc Broccoli's official nemesis. A sort of "for show" only buzz generating campaign--Billboards, collectable holographic Slurpee cups, and the like. There's definitely something there though; the whole gridded theme of the Dark (Waffle) vs Light (Foam Mesh).
