Re: Stabby Market
I'm colorblind, so they really look white to me, maybe a very pale greenish-grey almost blue. We've got them now in Canada. I've always known them as Ya Pears, but after checking, just now, I see that they're called Chinese White Pears. There are many Chinese people here, maybe that's how I knew their Chinese name.

The whole cocky attitude of that fucker in the beginning. He came back for round two to finish the job. Life sentence i hope if they catch him which isn't that hard as the vid quality is good enough. |

Re: Stabby Market
Oh I'm sorry I didn't know you were colorblind! Though yeah I am from Canada too! Though we've always had apple pears, and one of my earliest memories are of said pear. So yeah apple pears have a special place in my heart, probably next to the pistachio pudding which is also one of my favorites. It seems the pear I am thinking of is called the Nashi Pear, or more colloquially known as Asian Pear. Sadly it's different than the pear you were talking about as I have just researched said Ya Pear extensively. They are smaller and longer, but I have a feeling they might taste similar! I adore pears myself, so I am definitely gonna be on the lookout for the Ya Pears. If what you say are true, I should hopefully find them soon. On a side note I feel with a name like "Ya Pear" it should be slang or something. Sorta like one person says "Ya feelin' good my dude"? and another says with a smirk and a nod "Ya pear"! |
