South Africa, Man Fatally Shot in Car Hijacking
A 54-year-old man was shot three times in the chest and two times in his left arm during an alleged hijacking in Welkom. This is according to police spokesperson in the Free State, who said the man was sitting inside his car in the Commando Shopping Centre’s parking lot when two men fatally shot him, pulled him out of his vehicle, and drove off. Paramedics of emergency medical services declared the man, whom police have identified as S. M. M., dead on the scene. M’s vehicle was found abandoned at Shaft 2 at the President Steyn mine, also in Welkom. “A case of murder and hijacking was registered for further investigation and a manhunt has been launched instantly,” police said. |

Just another day in South Africa  The nature there seems to be amazing, the fauna is legendary and the SA wine industry produces some real delicacies, but many of the people there are so fucked up I'd stress myself out if I were to go there on holiday.

That guy didn’t really have much situational awareness or must have been distracted. They were scoping him out the entire time they walked over, and took a long time walking over, in a seemingly empty parking lot.

There were other people there! It wasn’t empty! Brazen and terrifying. Poor guy! Didn’t even stand a chance! They didn’t even give him a chance to just give up his car. Probably much more to this case. Not just a “simple” carjacking. Seems more like a hit. |

You may be right cuz they sure as shit didn't give him any option at except eat a bullet. Maybe took the car to make it look like a jacking to cover it up.  |
