When you open your statement with disclaimers like 'not being racist' you make yourself appear feckless and weaken your argument.
Muslims are not a race. There are Ink-Black Muslims in Ethiopia and Rosy-cheeked, sandy-haired, blue eyed Muslims among the taliban resistance in Afghanistan.
I travel frequently to various locations in the Middle East and I can tell you that the vast majority of Muslims are indifferent at worst to the west. I took part in the invasion of Somalia, the problems there are less about Islam than about criminal factions warring over turf.
