Poor woman.... figured with it being heavy would of crushed her rib cage and hips as well. Wonder if she'd still be alive if it just ran over her legs?

Pedestrian need only pay attention to surroundings. I mean wtf? Those things make a lot of noise and imma give it a wide berth, thank you. She could have easily lived had she only looked around! |

What was wrong with him? I used to live in NJ so had to deal with the snow removal vehicles all the time. All you have to do is not be an idiot and walk completely blind, when you aren’t. |

Re: Snowplow Runs Over Woman [CCTV + Aftermath]
none of the above. people need to be aware of what's going on. as a pedestrian, i would have never taken my eyes off of either machine, knowing that they can't easily see me. i probably would have taken a wide detour around that parking lot, in fact. |

Re: Snowplow Runs Over Woman [CCTV + Aftermath]
Seen these kinds of terrible accidents in China and other countries, and the drivers seem ... detached. Not here. Poor driver knew his life of carefree innocence was over. He will never forgive himself. That machine was loud, and not moving that fast. She saw it as it turned right and sat there. She never waivered until it touched her sleeve ... headphones up loud? I think so. If this were California, a pure comparative negligence jurisdiction, I would put 80% on her, 20% fault on the driver. |
