On a country highway, I was the first person on the scene of an accident where a car with 4 teenage boys hit another vehicle that was stalled on the highway. The car with the teens burst into flames. I tried to help but it was too hot to even get near the car, I ran to the other side where the direction of the wind was driving the flames the other way. I managed to put my hand on the front passenger door handle but it wouldn`t open. By this time there were three other bystanders and we felt so helpless. You would never believe the inhuman sounds and screams those kids were making but there was nothing we could do. I had nightmares for months. Two of the teens in the car were brothers. We are not guaranteed our next breath, none of us. This video was especially upsetting to me, I couldn`t watch the whole thing.

Awful. Listening to that poor mans screams as he burned to death. It reminds me of something I saw years ago somewhere of a young bloke who was burned to death in his jeep or something. They couldn't get him out because the door was jammed. He was only about 17 or 18. I will never forget this screams and the pure helplessness of the people trying to get him out to no avail. Horrible way to die.

The bystanders did everything they could humanly do without the aid of hydraulic extrication gear.. That car was so folded up.. Its hard to believe there was a survivor till you can hear him screaming..... Very sad and traumatic incident for all...

For all the insanely fucked up shit we see in these vids over the years, there's a legit chance this is the most brutal and agonizing death I've ever seen on video.

Even the "fully engulfed in flames" horror videos aren't this bad, as horrible as they are they're usually over relatively shortly. It sounds like this guy had the worst possible slow burning death. Unbelievable.

If I was ever a bystander in a situation, and was thinking clearly enough, I wonder if I'd ever talk myself into ramming my car into the front of a car like that in a hail mary attempt to rip it free. It would be hard to talk myself out of trying anything, I think.

Talk about the Three Stooges Fire Brigade. If they had hit the fire with the extinguishers at once...they would've knocked the fire out. Thir lack of training/experience in using the extinguishers caused that poor guy's death by fire.
