Re: Russia - Woman Disappears Under Ice
They seriously couldn't afford a safety tether?? $5 and a trip to Walmart could've saved that woman's life and spared the trauma that little girl went through. That just broke my heart hearing her. With how fast the river was running under the ice I wouldn't do it for any amount of money unless I was like suicidal and my family could benefit from it. My extremely unlikely yet wishful prediction is the woman was terminally ill and wanted to leave her kid(s), husband, family, etc some $ due to an "accidental" death since most life insurance companies don't cover suicides. Seriously a $5 rope could have saved her life. I'd jump in it with a tether but then my skinny ass would prob die of hypothermia exiting the water coffin. |

Re: Russia - Woman Disappears Under Ice
If you slow the video down and watch frame-by-frame you can see she hits the water at a 45 degree angle. She doesn’t go straight down. The current sucked her in by the feet immediately as soon as her feet made contact with the water. She got pulled in before she was even submerged

Re: Russia - Woman Disappears Under Ice
Why not shine a light at the opening to help her find her way out? What a fucking waste of human life.
