Re: ~Russia- Seaplane Crashed - The Crew Burned Alive~
It looks like they just don't have enough speed but the pilot still try to defy the physics and went nose up. This video incident could be because the pilot might stay too close to the stall limit speed but didn't handle unexpected wind instability around some hills causing the lift weight lost suddenly. Like wind move from upward to downward in certain spot which is generally known among hill grinder players. Stalling = not enough airspeed to lift its wing Stalling is not just going straight nose down like in movie or video games. In physical reality, one side that is heavier will be pulled down first and its generally the side that it goes down first. For example, if you are just 0.1 degree roll to the right, when stall happens, it will roll right and nose down uncontrollably causing the incident in the video. This type of accident applies to many videos that have aircraft roll + nosedown near airfield. |

Re: ~Russia- Seaplane Crashed - The Crew Burned Alive~
If you look at the waves you can tell the direction of the wind at takeoff is going from the front of the plane to the back (headwind) which is what you want for takeoffs. When the plane crashes you can see the water going from left to right. The loss of headwind, plus the fact that the plane was already going very slow, and needed altitude to get over all of the construction equipment, I believe is what caused the stall (insufficient airflow over the wings to create lift) and crash. Credentials: I watch a lot of plane crash documentaries. |

No, they didn't burn alive. The impact killed everyone.
