If you're a gorgeous woman you can probably walk up to a guy and tell him to turn down his music, and he will, no questions asked. If you're a guy, and you're not a hulking giant or with a posse, in most cases what will happen is he'll just ignore you, and when you DO manage to get his attention, be prepared to enter some kind of shouting match. Or else he'll just turn up his music, or he'll turn it down for the length of a song, but as soon as his next favorite song starts playing, he'll turn it back up again. Yeah, you COULD call the police, but they would just shoot him anyway, so might as well just do it yourself and save them the trouble. ,
